D.A.N.G.E.R Program

The Lansing Police Department has created a new school program meant to replace and improve the former GREAT and DARE curriculums. The program is designed to teach elementary and middle school aged children. The program was designed in conjunction with the school district and is ever evolving. Danger began in 2010 and is currently taught in ten of Lansing schools. Some of the lessons include: Internet Safety, Cultural Diversity, Drugs, Gangs and Decision Making Skills.
