COLLEGE INTERNSHIP

 

The Lansing Police Department offers an extremely limited number of unpaid internships to qualified students currently enrolled in collegiate studies. Preference will be given to those students who are criminal justice or law enforcement majors and residents of the Village of Lansing. Due to these being filled on a first qualified basis it is advised to apply as soon as possible.

 

The following minimum qualification must be met:

1. Current enrolled in a recognized collegiate internship program.
2. Complete a personal interview.
3. Pass criminal background check – applicants with a criminal history will be excluded.
4. Be available for a minimum of 16 hours per week between the hours of 7 am and 11:30 pm.

 

If you do not meet these requirements you will not be considered for the position. No acceptations will be made.
